We are looking for students who are passionate about LGBTQ+ inclusion in higher education and creating equitable and supportive environments that promote student success to join our research group.

This research is funded by Coventry University and in collaboration with CUSU. The research is LGBTQ+ community-centred and will give you the opportunity to shape and influence research into improving LGBTQ+ inclusion in higher education and shape the outcomes of the research to ensure it genuinely improves LGBTQ+ inclusion here at Coventry University and wider.

This opportunity is open to all Undergraduate students interested in LGBTQ+ inclusion regardless of gender identity and sexuality but we are particularly keen in hearing from LGBTQ+ students.

This is an ad-hoc role and will involve attending some meetings with other students (virtually or in-person). You will be asked to review different elements of the research including survey design, data findings etc. and give ideas and suggestions for the development of the research.

The role is voluntary, but volunteers will have the opportunity to receive a Leadership Award through CUSU as well as develop knowledge and experience of research processes.

To get involved please complete this application form at

or email Grace Cappy for more information
